Between 1994 and 2001, Dr Kossen Ho completed in Oxford both his doctorate thesis on the urethral sphincter and urological training. He returned to work in Hong Kong in 2001 as an assistant professor in Urology at the Department of Surgery, Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong. In the summer of 2003, he gained the Fellowship of the European Board of Urology in Paris and obtained a diploma of laparoscopic surgery from Strasbourg University, France.
Thereafter he received specialist training in laparoscopic urological surgery in Germany (Department of Urology, Universitatsklinikum, University of Leipzig, Leipzig), Belgium (Department of Urology, Erasme Hospital, University of Brussels, Brussels) and Egypt (The Urology and Nephrology Center, Mansoura). In October 2004, he joined the Hong Kong Urology Clinic.
